Reviw of Marriott Hotel located in Ocean Park, Hong Kong

Hello there.

The Marriott Hotel adjacent to Hong Kong’s Ocean Park promises an enchanting stay.

With its prime location near popular attractions and comfortable facilities, it’s an ideal base for visiting Hong Kong. The luxurious rooms offer stunning sea views, providing a relaxing retreat. The hotel’s restaurants and bars serve sophisticated cuisine and beverages. Additionally, the hotel features a large pool and restaurants, making it perfect for families.

This is a perfect choice for those who want to make their Hong Kong stay more comfortable and memorable. Let me introduce the Marriott Hotel located at Ocean Park.

Exterior to Lobby

Here is the Marriott Hotel.

Located right next to Hong Kong Ocean Park, this leisure facility. We came with our family this time and plan to stay after playing at Ocean Park.

There is a spacious café next to the lobby.

Looks very delicious!

There are drinks and snacks available in vending machines. Note that there are no convenience stores within the hotel, but there’s a 7-Eleven within a 5-minute walk from the hotel, so you can purchase various items there.

This is the check-in lobby, but surprisingly, I had to use a QR code to get a queue number and wait. I waited for nearly an hour. I arrived around 3 PM, which is when check-in becomes available, but it seems better to go to the lobby a bit earlier.

Interior

Next, let me introduce you to the interior. Oh, it has a promising vibe.

I can see a large sofa.

This is a baggage storage area next to the entrance. It’s very spacious and more than enough for one night’s luggage. The blue reflection is the room key.

And here’s the interior. It looks incredibly clean!

Even the artwork displayed reflects a maritime theme.

This is the opposite side of the bed. The wood-toned design adds a touch of luxury.

The wall-to-wall sofa is spacious enough to sleep comfortably.

There are 6 bottles of water, 2 bottles of lemon tea, 2 bottles of milk, and a small bag of potato chips.

A coffee maker is also provided.

This is the refrigerator. This type is the first time I’ve seen.

There’s a desk and chair for work next to the TV.

The closet is quite large and can hold a lot of luggage.

This is the washbasin.

There are various amenities available. The toothbrush is wooden and adds a touch of luxury.

Unfortunately, there is no bidet in the toilet.

And this is the bathtub. It’s incredibly deep. My son, who is 110 cm tall, could stand in it and the water reached up to his chest, so you can fill it with water up to about 90 cm. The unique shape of the bathtub made it the most interesting feature in the room. I’d like to use it again. There’s a separate area for showering, so you can enjoy a relaxing bath.

Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided, but… the shampoo made my hair feel stiff. If you’re concerned, you might want to bring your own.

A view of the hotel’s pool from the room’s window. The Marriott Hotel offers different prices for city view and pool view rooms, with the pool view being slightly more expensive.

プールの様子

The pool is open from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM. It’s quite large and there’s also a pool for kids, so the satisfaction level is high.

This is the children’s pool. It’s quite shallow, so there’s no need to worry about drowning.

In addition to the slide, there are various other features and gimmicks that make it fun.

There are benches in the pool, a common feature in resort hotels. My son also took a break there.

ルームサービス

Since we spent the day at Ocean Park during the day and had been playing at the hotel pool in the evening, we decided to have dinner in the room using room service.

This is the fish and chips for my son. There was a lot more than I expected, and I was surprised, haha.

This is the bolognese pasta. It was one of the most delicious bolognese pastas I’ve ever had.

This is the Singapore-style chicken rice. Some people might like it, some might not, but I personally enjoy it.

We enjoyed our meal at the table together. It was very satisfying.

夜のホテルを散歩

After dinner, we took a stroll around the hotel.

A large aquarium in the lobby. It’s beautiful.

You can walk all the way to the poolside. There’s no one there.

It’s beautifully illuminated at night.

There was a mysterious patterned Louis Vuitton suitcase on display in the corridor.

朝食バイキング

We also tried the breakfast buffet.

There were dim sum options, which are typical of Hong Kong.

This is the pancake machine that my son was fascinated with. When you press the button, the conveyor belt starts moving automatically…

The pancakes drop down from here. They’re small and easy to eat, even for kids.

まとめ

In this article, I introduced the Marriott Hotel located in Hong Kong’s Ocean Park.

Interestingly, this hotel was used as a quarantine hotel when my family came to Hong Kong. At that time, we couldn’t see much beyond the room, so I didn’t have a clear idea of what the hotel was like. However, after staying there, I found it to be a very good hotel.

Among its features, the deliciousness of the room service dishes and the pool are experiences I recommend trying out.

If you’re looking for a hotel in Hong Kong, I hope this article can be a helpful reference.
